We are an entity with very strong foundations. In 2010, with the affiliation to Central Força Sindical, SINDOMARF-CE started to have a new role in the search for achievements and improvements for the category of Officers Joiners and Workers in the Sawmill and Wood Furniture Industries in the State of Ceará. It was in that year that the current president, Renato Matias, at the time holding the position of Secretary of Labor Relations of the entity, began to develop a base work. Visiting the companies one by one, going to the worker, making them aware of the importance of the union, of the importance of the worker being unionized, taking even the same information, holding assemblies in the factories, and thus gradually unifying the category. During this period, changes began in forms of benefits to workers; as a real gain in wages, more security at work, meal vouchers, etc. In 2013, SINDOMARF-CE joined DIEESE – Inter-union Department of Statistics and Socioeconomic Studies, with this affiliation, we gained an important tool to assist us in the struggle for the benefit of the worker. In 2014, SINDOMARF-CE started to have legal assistance for workers in the category with a lawyer on duty in the entity itself, another benefit that we have as a priority to assist workers when they need justice to guarantee and defend their rights. . In 2015, we did intense grassroots work, talked to the category, strengthened our ties and elected our board through the vote of each worker. Today, we are an entity with state representation, we are honored to represent the worker in every corner of our state. Thus, we have a lot to do for our improvement. But we are sure that we are on the right path, fighting together for a strong and safe category.
